280-1120 kw Industrial Heavy Duty Horizontal Air Cooled Screw Chiller with Heat Pump

Air Cooled Screw Chiller is, in fact, a cooling system that uses air to cool the temperature of the application unit. It doesn’t involve the complications of installing an immense water-cooling system but stays easy to install. Despite having a compact structure, it is lightweight that operates quietly without producing noises.

The Air Cooled Screw Chiller produced by Ruidong is comprised of essential components for efficient operation. These components include a screw compressor, an air-cooled condenser, an ice thermal storage unit, a condenser fan, an AC control system, a refrigerant tank, expansion valves, a tube type evaporator, and protection devices.

  • Screw compressor is responsible for compressing the refrigerant gas, increasing its temperature and pressure before it enters the condenser.

  • Air-cooled condenser transfers heat from the refrigerant to the surrounding air, causing it to condense and return to a liquid state.

  • Condenser fan aids in the dissipation of heat from the condenser. It blows air over the condenser coils, improving the heat transfer process and ensuring efficient cooling operation.

  • AC control system oversees and regulates the chiller's operation. It controls various parameters such as refrigerant flow, compressor speed, condenser fan speed, and water flow to optimize performance.

  • Refrigerant tank is used to store the refrigerant employed in the chiller system. It maintains the appropriate refrigerant charge and provides a buffer for any changes in system conditions.

  • Expansion valves regulate the flow of refrigerant from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side of the chiller. They manage the refrigerant flow rate, ensuring proper cooling performance.

  • Shell and tube type evaporator absorbs heat from the chilled water, effectively cooling it down. It consists of a network of copper tubes through which the refrigerant flows, facilitating heat transfer from the water to the refrigerant.

  • Protection devices are in place to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the chiller. These devices include high-pressure and low-pressure switches, flow switches, temperature sensors, and safety controls. They protect the chiller from abnormal operating conditions and prevent any damage to the system.
